Sneaky Sneakers

I love sneakers. I absolutely adore them. They’re comfortable, functional, and versatile. They can be worn with jeans, skirts, dresses, shorts… you name it, sneakers go with it. I’ve always been sneakers’ biggest fan. So that’s why, now that my only two pairs of sneakers are full of holes and dirty and falling apart, I’m becoming more and more distraught the longer I go without a new pair. Realistically, I’ll probably opt for a pair of classic Keds, but it’s always fun to dream of the more crazy, more expensive sneakers that I could happily sport.

I love the idea of sequinned Converse and satin ribboned Lanvin sneakers, but how practical would they be in a day-to-day setting? My logical side says not very, but on the other hand, I’m sure I could work them into my wardrobe if I just had the chance…

I love sneakers. My favorite is a laceless Etnies sneaker with houndstooth print on it. I’m desperately trying to find another pair since my shoes are really worn out (I’ve had them for about 3 years!) and the side is starting to rip. If I can’t find another pair, I am seriously going to stitch it back together if it’s the last thing I do!

*ahem* But anyway. I do love sneakers. I keep a pair in my drawer at work so I have something comfortable to wear in the lab. I’m thinking of buying a pair of white Vans so I can draw on them.
